CC-W - Helps to support a healthy immune system (Sage, Eucalyptus, Bistort, Horehound, Wild Cherry Bark).

Below is about historical observations and historical data relating to herbs. This document is not intended to be a substitute for medical advice by license physicians. All readers should consult a physician regularly in all matters related to medical problems. This includes the diagnoses and treatment of disease and all other physical and mental conditions.

CC-W(Coughs & Colds) - Sage has an antiseptic effect for sore throats and even abscesses in the throat. A person can gargle with the extract full strength, or "mist" the extract directly into the affected area with a spray bottle or perfume atomizer, as needed. Or, better yet, it can be combined with other herbs that accentuate its strength. Eucalyptus or "gum trees", as they are called where they grow natively in Australia and New Zealand, provide us with a bark that combines well with Sage. Eucalyptus combines both the attributes of an antibiotic and antiseptic for troubles of the lungs and skin. It is a specific for the "dry spot" behind the nose and in the throat which often accompanies a miserable cold and cough. Bistort is a true blood purifier and poison antidote for the removal of the poisons the cold and cough are trying to eliminate. This shortens and reduces the time of suffering. Horehound is an old pioneer remedy. It is an expectorant; that is, it loosens mucus and phlegm. This is one member of the mint family that does not taste like a typical mint. You just have to taste it to properly appreciate the power of a medicinal mint. Horehound also allays pain and repairs deteriorated lungs. Horehound is an important antidote to neutralize the "internal venom" build up in the body which must be washed out in the infected mucus. Wild Cherry Bark, from the inner bark of the wild cherry tree, is one of the most used and heavily valued botanical medicines of the North American Chippewa Indian Nation. It is used for the entire respiratory system. Wild Cherry Bark loosens phlegm and breaks up congestion even in the most debilitated conditions. Its relaxing action on the respiratory system calms irritated nerves and reduces excessive burning or acid backed up into the throat. Wild Cherry Bark is also a valuable remedy for anorexia (ann'-oh-rex-ee-uh), a condition of wasting away where the person can not or will not eat. The herbs in this faithful, reliable combination work together as a powerful weapon in your armament against the sufferings of coughs and colds. COMBINATION:Sage, Eucalyptus, Bistort, Horehound, Wild Cherry Bark.* DOSE:20 to 40 drops every three to four hours, or 40 drops hourly, as needed. In severe, acute cases, take hourly with a cup of either diluted unsweetened apple juice or dark cherry juice. Also, rub full strength on throat, chest and back, hourly. Can also be used full strength, as a gargle for infected sore throats or misted into the throat with a gentle sprayer such as a perfume atomizer. For less severe cases gargle or spray in a diluted form. Use in a ratio of 40 drops to one ounce of water. If anorexia, then 40 drops every three hours, while awake, until well.
