CALENDULA- Salves and extracts of this plant, the original Marigold (not the garden variety), have been in use in Europe for centuries with great affection and appreciation. For correction of skin problems such as varicose veins and too much or no pigment of skin, frostbite and athelete's foot, Calendula is used in the following manner: Apply Vitamin E oil from 100 i.u. capsule(s) to the affected area. Soak gauze in the extract and apply over the area covered with plastic sandwich wrap and a cloth wrap to hold all in place. Change once each day but allow area to dry between applications. Taken internally, it has proven effective for jaundice, water retention, pockets of the colon and stomach problems as well as viral and bacterial invasion. Many reports from Germany and Austria indicate strengthened vision from continued use. Operation wounds are also corrected by external applications.* DOSAGE: 5 to 20 drops internally three times per day or externally as needed. Calendula - Calendula officinalis
